Description
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is one of the most beautiful coins ever struck by the United States Mint. Designed by renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse features Lady Liberty striding toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag, symbolizing hope and freedom.
This particular coin was minted in 1918 at the United States Mint branch in Denver, indicated by the “D” mintmark on the reverse.

1918-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar Mintage: 2,517,000
This relatively low mintage compared with other Walking Liberties boosts the coin’s collectability and value, especially in higher grades. Coins from this year and mint are highly sought after by both silver collectors and type collectors alike.
